Yes, Quotit software will allow you to quote on-exchange health insurance marketplace plans.
The subsidy calculator is a tool to estimate if an individual or family seeking coverage may be eligible for a credit toward their cost for health care coverage. By entering household size and estimated income in the system, the consumer can view on-exchange plans with an estimated credit applied to the premium.
When logged into your Quotit account click on the top tab named “Individuals” and then do the following:
- Select “Add New Individual Contact”
- Fill in the “Primary Contact Information” (First Name is required)
- Fill in the “Location” (ZIP Code is required)
- Fill in the “Census Information” (Relationship Type, Gender, & DOB are required)
- Click “Create Contact”
The online application link is entered by going to “Settings” and then “Online Application Links.” Once there the user will need to follow the instructions provided below:
- Click the “Add” button
- Select the state
- Select the insurance type
- Select the carrier
- Follow the instructions provided in red to add the online application link for each carrier.
Broker ID numbers are entered by going to "Settings" and then "Agent of Record ID's". You will need to add the broker ID for each carrier in each state that is enabled for quoting.
When completing an online application, the broker will receive credit as long as the correct agent-specific online application link is added in the “Online Application Links” section. The agent writing number will automatically be populated on the PDF Version of the application after the number is added to the “Insurance Carrier Broker ID” section.
Quotit offers quoting for: Individual Medical and Ancillary, Individual Medical On-Exchange, Short Term Medical, Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part D, Term Life, Small Group.
In the “Compose Email” box you will type in the message you want saved in the message text box. Once the message is fully typed in you will click on the “Additional Options” button, click the box for “Make this my default message,” and then click “Save Changes.” After that is complete you will need to “Send Your Message” so that everything just done stays saved.

The “New Individual Contact” process collects all of the primary contact information such as name and address of the contact being created. When running a “Quick Quote” you are only asked to enter the minimum information needed to generate a quote.
